I know there’s a vocal segment of the Dragon Ball community that wouldn’t trust us with Goku ever again, and given what happened with GvS 2 I totally get that. Given how much Death Battle has changed, I honestly do have an itch to re-examine this match-up with our new methodologies. Q: “With Dragon Ball Super and Ultra Instinct, do you think Goku VS Superman 3 would be worth doing?”Ī: Maybe.
There is a possibility that they may do another superman vs goku battleĪnd, how i understand it, they are going to make superman lose on purpose so they can reconcile themselves with the dragon ball community. Guess they didn't search up that info, but since is still DB, nothing beyond the usual. While this one is somewhat dangerous in the same lines they put, Stephen is the SS and not just an average sorcerer, so he can cast it without too many problems.
Heck, Strange himself is capable of calling upon a powerful spell specifically designed to absorb all types of magic and that not even Mordo can replicate it: There were definitely some ass-pulls and bits of lies even when taking aside the whole Inza thing though, such as claiming absorbing magical energy would be too dangerous for Strange.Something almost downright ridiculous when Baron Mordo, his archenemy who's less powerful/skilled/proficient canon-wise and normally gets beat down by Stephen on a daily basis, has once absorbed all the magic from the Staff of Polar Power(An object which allowed Nebulos to goe toe-to-toe against Living Tribunal back in the classic days) and millions upon millions of mystical dimensions. They did say it's possible to make an argument for either one to win and that's indeed difficult to analyze both characters' power-set. I've seen some compelling arguments for Dr Strange on here and whilst DB didn't downplay him, they overlooked many factors for a battle of this kind. Not surprised Death Battle pulled out a plot relevant final form for Dr Fate to justify his victory.
